“It gets better with time.” How many times have we been told that when healing from an injury, whether physical or emotional? Or maybe you’ve heard this statement in regards to adjusting to a new environment, relationship, or situation. This idiom is used so often you’d think it was found in Scripture. Well. . . maybe it is.

This Sabbath falls on Ageism Awareness Day. In a world where newer and younger are celebrated and coveted, we’ll look to the Bible to see why aging, then and now, is to be prized and not overlooked.
