Community Services: Food Bank Distribution
We are so blessed to have so much food for distribution! Please come and partake of the blessings, and pass along these blessings to your neighbors and friends!

Food Bank Distribution
Every Saturday afternoon
12:30 pm - 2:00pm
Thank you so much for your prayers and support as we have our weekly food distribution on Sabbath afternoons for our church and our community. Our food bank benefits 3 particular groups:
1. This food bank provides nourishment to those members in our church family dealing with food insecurity.
2. We also are able to provide food to our church members to give to those in need, such as a neighbor or friend.
3. On occasion, people of the unhoused and homeless community, who also receive food during the week, are able to also receive food at our weekly food distribution events.
Our food bank is currently operating out of a small room--this is temporary. Our goal is to be able to move back into its original location: the SOS Thrift Store under the gymnasium. This can only be done with your generous support and prayers.

The Vallejo Drive Church is partnering with Food Cycle LA to provide fresh produce to our neighboring communities in need.
We are thankful to them for adding to our Food Bank Pantry full of canned goods.

-pick up donations from local donors in Glendale/LA,
-receive donations from Food Cycle LA vendors at church on Friday afternoons,
-help distribute food on Sabbath afternoons at the Food Bank room.

Laundry Love
One of the kindest things we can do is provide for the basic needs of those who are without. Laundry love give us an opportunity to clean the clothes of many who do not have the resources, while giving us time, one load at a time, to share grace, mercy, and love with those in need.
