Sabbath Worship Experience | The Kingdom of Heaven is Like....Wheat and Weeds

The parable of the wheat (good seed) and the weeds (bad seed) has always been deeply problematic for me. As much as I don’t want to read it so literally, even figuratively it paints a worldview of God that just doesn’t sit right with me.

Calvinism uses this parable to teach their doctrine of predestination—that some people are born to be wicked, because they’re just “bad seed” and that that is their God-given purpose.

But there is something in this text I now see that I cannot unsee. In fact, I see it everywhere and I can’t wait to share with you tomorrow.
