The kingdom of heaven is like. . . How many times have we heard this statement before Jesus would launch into one of His parables? For the rest of the summer we will look at some Jesus’ most well known parables beginning with this phrase and some of His more obscure ones following this phrase. What can we understand about God’s kingdom that has liberated so many, and at the same time, angered so many? What does God’s kingdom say about who He is, and equally, what does it reveal about us?
