Sabbath Worship Experience | "Breakthroughs in Unlikely Places"

Feb 8, 2025    Pastor Baron Sovory

Hi, family! Our speaker this Sabbath is one of my closest friends from childhood. We even attended the same school and church. He is Pastor Baron Anthony Sovory. He was born in Los Angeles and raised in a ministry-centric family. His parents, Pastor Allen and Rosalyn Sovory developed his religious path—his father as a long-serving pastor and evangelist and his mother as a nurse. Pastor Sovory's education further fortified his calling. He studied Pastoral Ministry at Oakwood University, and later earned a Master of Divinity from Andrews University Theological Seminary in Michigan.

With his 24 years of pastoral service, Sovory currently leads Valley Fellowship SDA Church in Rialto, CA as its Senior Pastor. He cherishes his two daughters, Joelle Monet and Solange Anais, and his wife Amy Cornwall Sovory who are the loves of his life. For Pastor Sovory, ministry is a privilege and each day is a new opportunity to live out the calling to love.

His mission is to ignite God's people with passion and purpose, inspiring them to lead lives anchored in biblical faith, and experience the abundance promised in John 10:10. Above all, his love for Jesus reigns supreme, and he relishes fellowship with friends and colleagues, spreading Jesus' grace and love to all open hearts.

Here’s a snippet from Pastor Sovory on what he’s preparing to share this Sabbath: “Have you ever desperately searched for something important, examining every possible location, only to come up empty-handed? We all know that sinking feeling when our usual solutions fail us. But what if the stakes were higher than a misplaced phone or lost keys? What if it was your life hanging in the balance?

Join us as we explore a remarkable story of a powerful man who found himself in exactly this position. When conventional wisdom failed him, he faced a choice: embrace an unconventional solution that seemed beneath his dignity, or let his pride cost him everything. How do we respond when God's answers come in unexpected ways? Don’t miss out this Sabbath as I share a message entitled, ‘Breakthroughs in Unlikely Places.’”
